AM Radio Reception S80 2001

I am very happy with much of my 01 S80. The reception on the AM radio band (yes baseball games are still on AM) is less then acceptable.

I'm wondering if the Radio is not connected to the rear window antenna? Or any way to boost the antenna strenght?
