How reliable are the 60 Series?

I found a 2001 60 T5 manual with 25k miles today at a dealer, looked okay, but was a lease return. Had a busted mirror cover on the driver's side, which they said they would fix.

$17k...good deal?

I'm looking for a car to use for a project out west, where I'll be putting a lot of miles on it, and need something dependable. Also looking at other makes, including Honda.

Dealer said they don't see many manuals anymore, I remember trying to find a 240 with stick.

Any advice appreciated, I know nothing about the new Volvos other than the seats were very comfortable.
