I have 96 850 turbo with about 130k miles on it. It has developed a major oil problem over the last two weeks, as well as a rough idle. I could smell the oil burning inside the car when i drove. I looked under the hood and it was even smoking from the exaust manifold. i looked under the car and there was oil all over the back of the block espeially around the manifold, and a bit on the turbo. I checked my oil like i do every other day, and it burned about a quart in 90 miles or so! I know its not the rear cam seal because that has been replaced. I decided to take it to my local shop, when i stepped on the gas the first time i got a huge cloud of oil smoke out the back, but it ran just fine the whole way there, except for the rough idle. So there it sits until he can look at it. Now im pretty sure its the turbo, and the shop agrees, but he wants to look at the breather system as well. I was wondering if anyone has had similar problems or advice before i spend 1200 bucks.
