Knock Sensor (94 855 Turbo) 850

Has anyone else had problems with these? I was told by my local yokel Indy shop that they were a problem and have been redesigned. I'm at 94k, so, no big surprise, but it's not some thing I see often on the B.B. $500 fix...ouch.
