check engine light on & ABS light on 850 1996

had a diagnostic done on my 96 850 t5 using a scantool.net with and OBD11 whatever that means,but everything shows the engine and the other components are okay, but what i do not understand is why my check engine light is on and abs light goes on(occasionally).i do not want to go to the agents for such a problem.can any one out there help and how can i cancel these 2 lights
