My S70 fuel floater went bad and wouldn't correctly register the fuel levels in the car. I took it in and they put a new one in but apparently it is not the correct part. The original one, which the shop told me Volvo didn't make any more the floater ball went straight up and down. The new one they replaced it with has some sort of angle and it keeps getting caught on the sides of the tank so it still doesn't register the correct amount of gas. I have taken this in about 4 times to get fixed and now they say they are waiting to hear from Volvo about getting the correct part. Can anyone tell me what the correct type of floater is for the car is and if Volvo still make it. I have already paid for this $400 2 months ago. I would really like to get this fixed, before I run out of gas:)!
