Safety belt latch question? S70

There is a wire going to the drivers safety belt latch in my 1998 S70, but there isn't a wire going into the passenger side safety belt latch? Is this something that I need to get corrected? My dad's S40 has wires going into both, but not into the back latches. This is for the pretensioners, no?
