bubbles in expansion tank 850

I have a 84 850 turbo that I purchased with over heated engine. There was pressure in the cooling system with bubbles in the expansion tank, that indicated a leak in either the headgasket, head or block. I had the head rebuilt, value guides, shaved and pressure tested. I replaced head gasket and head bolts, water pump, timing belt etc. The engine started and runs just fine but I am experiencing the same pressure from the bubbles in the expansion tank. I removed the spark plugs and there is water on at least two of the 5 pistons. I'll do a compression test next. From what I have researched I haven't heard of this being a problem with the 850 engine block. Any suggestions?
