Attached is a picture of some device that has 2 or 3 vacuum lines coming off of it. The picture is looking from the back of the engine bay looking forward. The device is the metal square with the white cylinder in its center with the long white vacuum line going into it. Below the white line is a black line not really picured that runs up the the front of the car and down, it is currently hanging down by the bottom of the drivers side radiator cross member. At first I thought it got connected to the only nipple I could find and that appears to be the cruise control vacuum pump. When I hooked it up to the CC vacuum pump, when the car was started warm (having been drive already) the gas pedal would push it self down and the cars rpm's would surge to ` 3-4k for about 5 secs. Where does this vacuum line go, and what is suppose to be connected to the CC vacuum pump nipple that is clearly missing an end?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks again,
Jeffla
