Any Used Wagner Thermoquiet Brake Pads? V70-XC70 1998

Has anyone tried using Wagner's Thermoquiet brake pads? I just replaced the pad with the generic brand and squeeks like crazy.

I also notice the car makes this grinding noise when I come to a complete stop. The sound goes away exactly when I stop. It doesn't start back up when I go again. I'm thinking its the brakes. Please help. Thanks
