Following up to my recent post on my electronic climate control mystery, I forgot to mention that I did try some tests on the computer yet the computer will not work for me. I should get some type of response either when I insert the diode into one of the A or B slots yet nothing happens or when I try a test by pressing the button four consecutive times followed by a sequence of codes to tell the computer to do something. The LED does light up but that's about it. Thanks to all for your input and maybe someday I can provide someone else some usefull feedback as well. I'm a little bewildered on what to do next but if anyone can point me in the direction on a working ECC unit I guess I'll try that. You wouldn't believe what the dealer was quoting me for a new one!
