There was a message sometime in the past about converting a VW air pump for use on a S/V/70. The cost saving is significant, however, for a non-mechanic, I have been hesitant to attempt the conversion (I'm also value oriented). Has anyone else experience with the conversion. Are there any "step by step" instructions, such as those that are found in Bay13, available? I appreciate the good advice that you folks provide.
