Rear Vibration When Braking S70 1998

Hello Brickboarders,

Posting this question in hopes of becoming more educated before heading for a repair shop. Recently my '98 S70 GLT has been given out a pretty significant steady vibration when I brake (only happens when I use the pedal and goes away when at a stop); I'm pretty sure that it's coming from the rear. Should I assume it's a caliper/rotar problem? Anyone ever experience similar? Is this model prone to eating up brake system components?

Any advice is appreciated, thanks.
