Broken Rear Wiper 850

The rear wiper arm has been disjointed on my 96 850 turbo wagon.

I've pulled back the cover, and I can see the arm that moves the wiper is disconnected from the crank attached to the motor.

The connection looks like a black rubber grommet that might snap over the ball connection on the crank, but the two don't seem to fit together.

Does anyone have information on how to reconnect the two?

Any help is greatly appreciated.
