Here's the scenario:
In March had my old wheel (horn not operable) replaced with a new one.
In May, the new one developed a closed ciruit when one of the contacts "broke" and was constantly blowing.
Had it replaced for the 2nd time in May with another new one.
Now just today, I use my horn and BLAAAAMMM horn is constantly blowing, obviously a contact broke again.
Wtf is up with this? Anyone have any ideas as to why a brand new steering wheel's contacts could break so easily and so soon?
Needless to say, wheel is being replaced yet again tomorrow under warranty (last time had to force them to do the alignment and toe in adjustments - this time it's to be done with the wheel replacement.)
Is Volvo just manufacturing a sh*tty wheel or am I being duped and getting salvage wheels that are ready to break?
