All right!! Enough is enough. I have my 850 T5R (95 for those that didn't know they only made it for that one year in the USA), I have squeaky brakes. I have replaced all four rotors and brake pads using Volvo pads and rotors from IPD. I have placed large amounts of anti squeal lubricant on the pads and guess what? The squeal is still there after driving for a few miles. What is going on here? Calipers look okay, but how can one tell if they are sticking?
I tried the red anti squeal lubricant and it turned into a very hard rubber like compound after a few days. I then removed it all and used the standard lubricant.
Brakes aren't rocket science. I know cars but this has me baffled.
Okay you Volvo experts, Hellllllppppppp!!!
