Please help before I torch the garage with that ^#@$ing car in it ! 850 1993

Today I changed my front crankshaft oil seal. After 8hrs (not kidding) of #$@$ing around making a bracket to hold the crankshaft, getting a crankshaft puller from autozone, I finally get it all back together. Start car and all is well until that front seal looks like it is leaking again. I did something wrong. But what? The seal seemed to go in there nice and tight, even and flat. I was actually impressed with how it looked.

So if anyone can shed some light on possible causes that would be great.

Oh, since clearly I am going to be taking the crankshaft off again, how far do you pound the timing belt crank ?gear? back on. Only thing I encounterd I wasn't sure if I did right.

Thanks,

Anton
