1999 S70 AWD with electrical weirdness S70 1999

OK, the Check Engine light stays on nearly all the time. I'm used to that by now. Dealer's service folks say that one of the O2 sensors is bad (1 day after both were replaced). That's a constant thing.

What's new now is this: replaced the battery 3 days ago. Took a 100 mile trip yesterday and the traction control light, the anti-lock brake light AND the Brake light came on and stayed on. The cruise control didn't wotk, AND the car - when decelerating - would give a little involuntary "umph" at 1500 RPM before finally decelerating. I pulled over, turned off the ignition, and restarted, and it did OK until the next stop and restart when everything started over again.

This morning the speedometer stopped working for a few minutes along with the above-stuff. Stopeed and restarted -- AOK.

My old 240 used to do weird things like this occasionally and I discovered that the fuse panel was getting soaked from a leaky windshield. The S70 doesn't have that kind of excuse. Anybody got an idea of what's going on?????
