Clicking sound when braking! V70-XC70

Good morning to all,

I have noticed that my "new" 99 v70 (non turbo) was SOMETIMES making clicking sound during braking. Maybe there was brake pedal pumping (ABS) but the pumping was not as strong as it was from my 95 850 when the ABS kicks in. So, I am not sure whether it was ABS/Traction related. The difference between the two cars is that the V70 has traction control beside ABS. So, What is this noise? Is it normal or sometime wrong? Thank you.

Another general question: Does a volvo sedan have better braking performance than a wagon, in general? Seems to me that the braking of my 95 850 was better than all the wagons I test-drove. Thanks.

Best,

Puhong
