A/C fLED's flashing for 20 secs 850 1995

Hi to to all (other) fanatics- the Recirc and Auto LED's on my '95 850t5 wagon (265'000 KM) flashes for some 20 seconds after start up. The manual operation of the A/C seems to be normal but in Auto mode the blower runs at full speed continuosly.

I had the system cleaned and recharged, reset all error codes etc. Any ideas?
