wheel alignment 850

I have a set of snows I would like to put on my car. They are 15" where as my summers are 17's. My dealership tells me that when they do an alignment, whichever set is on the car at the time is the only set that will work with that alignment. I thought that once an alignment is done, any set of tires would be in alignment on the car.

Thoughts on this?
