water collecting under spare tire ?anyone S70 1998

I am considering purchase of a 1998 s70 glt. I noticed 1/2 inch of water beneath spare tire. No smell, no wet upohlstery and no rust. How concerned should I be the car appears to have been well taken care of and has had all its maintenance on time etc. Has anyone experienced this and if so what is the cause and what should I do? thanks
