oil pan replacement 850

My oil pan is leaking at plug on 93 850GLT. Self tapping plug was installed but has not helped. Can you recommend any other solutions? My service guy says 93 drain plugs have been problem but not newer models. Would a replacement oil pan from newer 850 or S70 fit? thanks for your help.
