euro rail whistle 850 1994

I just put in a new roof rack (euro rail style) with load bars(all Volvo).
When I get up to about 60mph there is a whistle/howl right above my head.
Makes me feel like i'm about to hit warp speed because the pitch gets noticeable higher as I go faster. . . makes the 5spd wagon sound like a turbo from inside the cabin. . ..

How can i get rid of that?
