Repair a stone chip in windshield S70

Does anyone know if there is a relatively inexpensive repair for a stone chip in a windshield. The chip (including small cracks) is about the size of a nickle. I'd like to keep it from spreading. I've heard that there a repair that injects some sort of solution into the chip to keep the cracks from spreading across the windshield. Any thoughts or feedback would be appreciated.
