Hi, I searched some through the forums with no real luck finding anything about my problem, so I am sorry if its somewhere and I'm missing it.

BACKGROUND My 96 850, has been giving random starting problems for the last year or so, sometimes it just wont turn over, this happened about a month ago for about three weeks straight. Looking for some random way to help, I unhooked the battery, no dice, however the next day I tried again, and the car started.
Now, I seem to have other problems, last night it was driving fine, went inside for a few hours, then tried to start it, completely dead, no lights nothing at all, so i figured somehow I had drained the battery, got a friend to jump it. I drove arounda a while to help charge the battery, parked it, then tried to start it again, the first two key positions gave me power, in two i had lights, cd, etc, however the second I attempted to crank, the entire car shut down, no electical power at all.
Anyone have any ideas? Thanks for your help
