Car won't start. ??? Fuel Pump??? 850 1996

Gas tank level reads 1/2. Battery cranks/turns over. Engine won't start. Wife couldn't remember when she last filled tank, so I added 2 gallons of gas. Also added container of "dry-gas" since temps have been near freezing where we live. Again, tried to start --- nothing. Was careful not to flood engine; did not pump gas! *** Original FUEL PUMP replaced on 6-03. Do not want to think fuel pump bad again since had Volvo dealer replace it at that time. Neighbor came over and seems to think it must be the fuel pump. Any other suggestions?
