Hi, I had a 240 for many years and occassionally had problems with streaking on the windshield whenever there was heavy rain, especially at night. Now I have an 850 with Bosch wiper blades, and I have the same problem--to the point where the decrease in visibility sometimes becomes a hazard. I had a rental car last week and the visibility in heavy rain was a lot better than in my car.

Does anyone know whether this is a common problem with Volvos? Also, is there a particular wiper blade that's head and shoulders above the rest? If there is, I'll buy it.

By the way, I try to remember to wipe off the blades whenever I wash the car, but I don't do this religiously.
