eating low profile tires...ugh! V70-XC70 2002

I have a 2002 V70 T5 with 25k miles on it so far.
It came with 17" low profile tires from the dealership.
I have replaced 4 tires total on the front. (3 passenger/1driver).
I swear, I don't drive like a maniac. Can I change the wheels if this continues? Is the car too heavy for these up to $230 a pop tires?

Anybody with any thoughts on this?
