light bulb out S40-V40

Hi,

The light bulb that's supposed to illuminate what gear I'm in (to the left of the automatic shifter) when the headlights are on has burned out.

Two questions:

1) how do I remove the panel to access the bulb?

2) what type of bulb is used so I know what to buy for replacement?
