blocked exhaust effecting turbo V70-XC70

the turbo impeller pins freely and the waste gate works properly but the turbo doesn't seem to work when driving, could it be an exhaust blockage of some kind?
also I noticed this summer when the AC was on it would blow cold, but as the day went on and the car got"warm" it would start to blow warm air, is this normal or another sign of possible blockage? (I've never had working AC in my cars, the hazard of having older cars LOL)

any feed back is much appreciated.
