Hello! I have an '81 S40 wagon (with flames!). I bought it several months ago, and am slowly learning to work on it. My current challenge is what I beleive to be a secondary electrical problem. There are times when the wipers and the stereo both stop working. It is always both, leading me to conclude it is connected. At first, it would happen when the car was very warm. The heater won't stop blowing hot air, but that's another problem, I think. I thought the heat was causing the turning off, but now it happens when the car is still cold. Recently it has happened when we try to turn the wipers on. The stereo I can live without, but living in Seattle, I need wipers to survive the winter. Help!
