S70 oil leak from top S70 1999

Hi folks,

I'm having a problem with my '99 S70, and was hoping to get some ideas about what to look for. A few weeks ago, my oil pressure instrument light popped on for a split second, and I checked my oil to find out that I was at least 2 quarts low. Since then, I've looked over the engine, and I'm fairly certain that my leak is comming from the oil filler cap.

After reading through a few dozen posts, I went after the usual suspects. I've replaced the oil filler cap's seal, looked for (but did not find) the flame trap, and I blew compressed air through the crank case vent tube. I also removed the spark plug cover plate, and found oil in and around the ignition wires. This tells me that the leak must as high as the oil filler cap.

Where else can I look for, what I percieve to be, a PCV block? Should I check the tubes into the oil separator? (requires removal of the intake manifold). Is it normal for the '99 to not have a flame trap, or did I simply miss it?

Thanks!
Mike
