Happy New Year everyone! I doubt many of you remember me from a few months back, but I was the 94 850 with the leaking abs pump. Many of you offered the part, but we instead bought stock in Dot 4.

Wellll, please do not laugh too hard. We were fortunate to have another vehicle with a decent trade in offer to trade for a 1999 s80. Beautifully maintained vehicle, I am very happy..till I come here and find out that once again, we have bought ourselves the 'lemon' of the volvos. LOL..only us.

So. We do have an extended warranty, which apparently is a very good thing. What should we expect? (Anything has to be better than dumping 2 containers of brake fluid in the 850, plus it was leaking oil and other little issues that would have added up I am sure)

We are still keeping our 850 and going to do the repair work shortly, and probably going to pass it on to our son for his first car. But maybe I may need a backup, if everything I read on here this morning is the truth.

Is there anyone on this board who has an older S80 and is happy?(praying there is) Thanks! Magblue
