volvo car battery S70

I now have 5 plus years on my original 99 s70 volvo battery. My instincts (and ear) are telling me its time for a battery replacement. Are the dealership volvo batteries as good as the car originals? It seems to me that on my 740, I replaced the battery with a volvo dealer - and it did not last nearly as long as the original?

If not the dealer's battery, what brand do you recommend?
