I try to keep the ice off these things befor eI use them, but this year I got caught and burned and have busted the driver side motor. These are $170 new, and a local yard sells used for $95 with lifetime warranty. But I was wondering....have any volvo handyman out there done a conversion to the pressure nozzles that come on the new ones...or on the audis and new Saabs? These wipers are fragile in the ice....nozzles just won't work if iced over...they won't break. So the question is...has anybody gotten creative and converted to nozzles on the bumpers?
