850 Turbo Crankcase Vent cleaning

I am pretty sure that the PCV system on my '95 855 Turbo is getting plugged up (probably lines or oil separator box), and want to address it before it starts building up too much presure and all the problems that causes. However, I must admit to some confusion on just what to do and how to do it. I know that the car does not have a flame trap, and that it does have an oil separator burried under the intake manifold. I would like to avoid pulling the intake maniflod if possible, of course. Would someone lay out the steps I should go through to do a decent cleaning job here? Also any pitfalls like using brake cleaner where it might damage components like the MAF?

Also, what are you Turbo owners for routine maintenance of the PCV system? I see that Haynes says that no routine cleaning is specified, but that is clearly not the best answer considering how often PCV excess pressure issues come up on teh boards.
