Just got the car back from shop, runs fine. Head gasket.
Jump in car, no reverse? R lights come on, no action. Neutral, car will not budge when pushed. Stop car, rolls forward/back in "Park"?? Roll out into street (car off), crank the car, starts, "Drive", it goes like a turtle (like winter mode. Stop on a downslope, put in "Reverse", rpm's increase slightly, car rolls forward??? Have read that PNP may be problem. Have to come to work, drives fine (like winter mode though). Barely make it here, starts chugging.
Start it at lunchtime, still no "Reverse", put in "Drive", cars dies. Please advise. I will donate this car for write-off to a charity if it's the tranny.
I will stick to Asian stuff going forward. Thanks for any advice you can offer. Alex
