2001 FWD V70 w/30K? V70-XC70 2001

Hi, I'm new to Volvos, and I'm wondering if anyone has any good advice for me on this car. My local dealer has the above described car, 2.4L 5cyl automatic w/traction control for close to $20000. I'm interested as I want a wagon with side airbags and curtain airbags, and I think my current small SUV is too small. Was this a good year for the V70 or am I setting myself up for spending a fortune on parts/repairs/etc? And I've been unable to find nhtsa/iihs ratings for this year and model.
