Hi,

The car is 1998 S70 GLT.

I have this intermitten brake vibration problem since last august.
After driving in city streets for a while, doesn't have to be conjested
traffic, the brakes would have this fine vibration a couple seconds before
it comes to a complete stop. The vibration is almost like sitting on
a massage chair. It also comes with a groaning sound.

It does not happen every time I drive in stop and go traffic.

I am planning to take the car to a mechanic. What should I expect the problem
to be and how much should it cost to fix? Would the brakes fail if I don't get
it fixed soon?

Fortunately, my commute is on the highway where I have never experienced the
vibrations on braking.
