Boy, am I dissapointed. I purchased a 2000 v70 new in May 2000. It did not come with a cargo cover, so I purchased one (separately) from the dealer at the time that I purchased a car. BIG MISTAKE. It turns out that the Volvo cargo covers are made entirely of plastic and they break after 18-24 months and must be replaced at a cost of $200.00!! I purchased a replacement cover 18 months ago, and it just broke and is now useless.
Is this a known issue? Has anyone gotten anywhere asking Volvo to replace them after the useless 12-month warranty expires?
Thanks,
Tim
PS - if anyone has one for sale, in gray, let me know.
