ABS light stays on--> No lights, blinkers 850 1995

Greetings
Intermitently but increasingly, with engine warm, ABS light on dash stays on after starting. When this happens, headlights, dashlights and blinkers don't function. Turning the car off and then back on again, eventually (3 to 5 times) the ABS light goes out and everything works fine.
Any input would be great.
