How to replace front wheel bearings 96 850 GLT 850 1996

I have done wheels bearings on my old 240 series but not on the 850. From my quick talk with the Volvo mechanic he said that you buy the whole thing with the bearings already in it and you do not pack in the bearings like my older 240. I'm not sure what he meant by "the whole thing". Is this the hub? Sounds like it is even a little easier than doing the 240 if I just change out this part. Since my ball joints are gone too, I figure I might as well do them while I'm down there with the wheels off the car.
