Are these OBDII Codes *Critical* to Repair? S70

The Check Engine light on my 2000 S70 GLT came on this week. I heard Pep Boys can read the codes so I brought it in to them. The codes found were:

PS.Note.Code.101 - Air Flow Valves out of range
PO1171 - Fuel Consumption on Bank No1.

Based upon this information, do you know if these faults are critical to the health/functionality of the car?

Thanks for your help.
