CMP Sensor and Circuit 850 1993

I have tracked a familiar warm engine stall situation to the CMP sensor. Error codes 314 and 324. Already replaced MAF to get rid of 121. Also replaced sparks and cables and air filter while I was at it.

I just tested the lead to the CMP and according to chilton I should get Battery voltage from terminal 3, 5V from terminal 2 and continuity at terminal 1. I'm geting Battery voltage at all 3 terminals. No continiuty between terminals. Chilton says to "repair the cicuit". What exactly does that mean to do? Do I need to replace the ECM? The wiring? Is there something specific I can check?

Thanks for any help.

Bryan
