Front end Noises with Tight Turning, High Speeds, and Bumps...Name that Tune?! S70 1998

A few quick questions about a talkative front end:

A) Hit a pothole a while back and now I get a soft "ssshhhhaaaa--sssshhhhink" clunking sound from the front right side whenever I hit a bump in the roadd. Does anyone know if this is more from a busted bushing or suspension part? Any thoughts on what to check?

B) There is a whirring sound when I drive. Used to be at just a resonance sound from 62-68mph that would decrease substantially at higher speeds, but now that whirring, almost a really quick "hrummm-hrummm-hrummm," is there almost all the time. When decellerating/accellerating you can definately hear a change in the speed and tone of the whirring sound from fast to slow, high to low pitch.

Doesn't appear to have any connection to RPM, just to speed. Thought it was old tires needing replacing, but that didn't change the sound. Definately sounds like something turning/spinning is out of whack. Saw a post about "hearing" when a bearing hub goes out, anybody know if that is what this sounds like?

C) While we're at the name that sound game...this one has been around for a while, but If I turn the steering wheel all the way to the R or L, as in making a tight U-Turn or parallel parking, it makes a "pung --- pung --- pung" sound. Tie rods, bushings, any thoughts???

Thanks again for all of the help!!

Liz
