I have an 854T with a rear spoiler (they all may have one). The darned thing bothers me - it takes up a significant amount of room in my rear view mirror and in my opinion doesn't add much to the looks. I really don't need much downforce, as I am not driving around at 100+ mph. Just today I noticed that the end mounts seem to be clips that can be removed. I see what appears to be protective tape between the brackets and the trunk lid. The center looks like a problem. I don't have the lid liner removed, but I am imagining that not only does the brake light wiring go through in the center, but there may be mounting bolt(s) as well. I wouldn't make it through inspection without the safety brake light present, would I? My guess is the wiring isn't in the deck on my car for the non-spoiler model, but this is the least of my problems. Should I just try to get over it and move on? Has anyone gotten rid of theirs? Thanks! Don '95 854T 153K
