Front Air Dam Paint Solution S70 1998

Just came up with a solution for keeping the front air dam looking good. My wife has wacked it on curbs three times, sanding the paint off down to the plastic, and not just underneath. My repair jobs haven't looked too good with matching paint and the paint has dinged more easily than the original. After the most recent incident of a curb jumping up in front of my wife, I repainted the lower section (up to the indention, about 3-4 inches) all the way around with truck bedliner paint. I used Duplicolor from Wal-Mart, about $7.95 a can. Needed two cans. I used white which almost matches my white S-70, but it comes in other colors. It has that rough, sandy/grainy texture so it doesn't have to be a perfect color match. Black would look good on most other colors. I think it looks great and should stand up much better to rock dings - plus it will be much easier to touch up the next time a curb "jumps up."
