I have a 1995 base model 850 wagon, which has become the hauler. the radio / casette player is model number SC-710. I want to put in an in dash cd player, but the local dealer parts counter does not show any applications for this model year. I do not want to do a remote changer, and wondering if there is another model year that is plug and play. I have seen many on ebay that look nearly identical, and the sellers say they fit this car, but I am concerned it does not show up on the Volvo dealer parts options. I have seen a model SC815 which looks right. Any help would be greatly appreciated. If an oem unit does not work., is there any recommended aftermarket units? Given the large opening taken up by the oem unit, what would an aftermarket installation look like? I do not want the dash looking all hacked up or jerry rigged.
