i have purchased a flush kit for my 96 850 glt transmission from ipd and was also going to purchase a in line filter . my friend is a mechanic says he would be a little leary about flushing a transmission with 100,000 mi. he says i should maybe just install the filter and replace it after 20,000 miles like ipd says to with trans that has never been flushed the fluid is not real bad looking but it is getting a burnt smell to it ,as always any input wold be greatly appreciated
